Lost Tooth and Kings Island

Jake lost his first tooth in July.  He had been waiting for this day for a LONG time.  Jake was excited to have the tooth fairy visit him and to show off his new smile. 

Jake and Olivia escaped to Kings Island for the day.  We went during the week to avoid the crowd and the weather was fantastic.  It was a fabulous family fun day!

Weddings & Vacation Bible School

On June 22nd Olivia was a flowergirl in a cousin's wedding.  Olivia loved her dress and did a great job on the big day.  Jake loved wearing a tie with his outfit as well.

This past week both Jake and Olivia participated in St. Simon's Vacation Bible School.  They truly enjoyed it.  Arts and crafts was their favorite center at VBS.

Summer Vacation Begins!

We are proud that Jake has completed his kindergarten year at St.Simon Catholic School. Now Olivia and Jake are on summer vacation.  The St. Simon festival kicked-off summer fun for the kids.

Jake turns 6 and park time!

Jake turned 6 years old on May 10th! He had a friend party at Pinheads Entertainment Complex where the kids bowled. Jake's godmother, AnneElise, and Rob stopped by for the festivities.

Both Jake and Olivia are enjoying the nice weather every moment they can.  Olivia had her first snowcone and I envision there will be many more to come this summer.  We look forward to being home on summer break at the end of May.

Olivia Turns 3 & Jake's Opening Day in Baseball

There was a double celebration at our house as Olivia turned 3 on April 25th and Chris turned the big 4-0!  We had a fantastic time celebrating the birthdays. 

Baseball season is in full swing. Jake is on the "Hot Rod" team with his best friend, Logan.  Chris likes their uniforms because the colors are similar to Purdue's school colors!

Basketball

Jake enjoyed a fantastic basketball season.  Half of the Clippers team was from Jake's kindergarten class! Jake impoved in dribbling as the season progressed and averaged six points a game.  Olivia enjoyed Jake's season as well because she made a new friend and was able to play while the boys played basketball. Baseball seasson will start at the end of April...stay tuned!
