Merry Christmas 2012!

We are very thankful to share our Christmas memories with you. Jake woke up at 5:40am to tell us Santa had arrived.  Olivia and Jake were so excited to open presents. They also took time to reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas with the birth of Jesus....the reason for the season!

St. Nicholas Day

Jake and Olivia enjoyed their St. Nicholas Day with family traditions and a present.  Then, we all went to St. Simon to have breakfast with Santa and do holiday crafts. Olivia did not know what to think when sitting on Santa's lap. She did not cry, but also was unsure of how to act while around him.  The kids continue to count down the days to Christmas during the Advent season.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving.  Jake had a Thanksgiving feast at St. Simon.  He brought  apple crisp for classmates to eat.  Jake and Olivia also visited the Notre Dame bookstore while visiting family. They had a great time and look forward to Christmas!

Halloween 2012!

Happy Halloween!  Jake dressed up as Ironman this year while Olivia was Minnie Mouse.  The weather was chilly for trick-or-treating, but it did not stop us from the fun.  The kids had a fantastic time with friends and of course getting candy!

St. Xavier Hall of Fame

Chris received the honor of being one of seven St. Xavier High School alumni to be inducted into the school's Hall of Fame for 2012.  It was a wonderful experience to share with Jake and Olivia.
