Family Fun

Jake truly enjoys kindergarten. We are happy that he has transitioned well into the school and is embracing it.  Olivia sings her ABC's nonstop, knows her primary colors, and numbers 1-20.  Olivia has shown an interest in potty training so we are working with her on it.  Cross your fingers this will happen sooner than later!

The day has arrived...Jake began kindergarten at St. Simon Catholic School!

After months of discussing, preparing, thinking, and praying the first days of kindergarten have been amazing.  Jake was so excited to start school after attending Meet the Teacher Time earlier in the week. There were no tears at our household on the first day of school because Jake was ready and feeling confident. Chris walked Jake into school the first two days.  By the third day Jake wanted to be dropped off to walk down the hallway "by himself." We are so happy to share this exciting milestone with you!

Last Days of Summer Vacaction

Jake and Olivia are making the most of their last days of summer vacation.  Their second cousins, Ethan and Adam, visited from Florida for a couple of days in late July.There have been many park days and bike rides soaking up the sun. Jake looks forward in starting kindergarten on August 14th at St.Simon Catholic School while Olivia will go back full time to Discovery Cove in the 2 year old room.  Time does fly by fast!

Roadtrip to Cincinnati~ July 2012

We escaped from Indianapolis to Cincinnati. We reconnected with the Imwalle and Steinert families along with enjoying Kings Island.  Jake and Olivia had a fabulous time and look forward to another roadtrip.

The Start of Summer!

June has provided us time to enjoy St. Simon's festival. Besides being a little warm, the kids had a fantastic time.  Jake and Olivia also have had many days at the pool and sprinkler park. 



We're Back!!!!

Absence makes the heart fonder....or atleast that is what we are saying since we had trouble getting pictures to download to the computer.  Luckily the technical issues are fixed.  We plan on updating the blog every other week to give insight into Jake and Olivia's lives.  We thank you for your continuous support!

We apologize for not having recent pictures on our blog.  There has been a few issues with the camera chord successfully importing pictures to the computer.  We hope to have pictures of Olivia's second birthday and Jake's birthday party posted by next week.  Of course there would be challenge around a busy time of our year...STAY TUNE!!!
